The Democratic primary will be June 14, 2022. As of this writing, there are still a few days left to register or to update your current registration: In person registration ends tomorrow (May 13), online registration ends May 15, and those mailing in paper registration forms must have them postmarked by May 16.
If you have moved since the last election, gotten married or divorced involving a name change, you need to update your registration before the those same deadlines. Get more answers to your voting questions from the Greenville County Election Commission.
You can register online at VoteBlueSC. Or in person at the Election Office at 301 University Ridge, Greenville.
If your registration is in order, start making a plan to vote. We have Democratic candidates running in key elections and in this unprecedented year it is critical that we show up strong to support them.
Get information about all the candidates by reviewing their websites, social media posts, and news articles. You may choose to volunteer with candidates by phone banking or canvassing. That’s so important. But what’s just as important is that you get as many of your friends and family to the polls as well.
Keep following the GCDP here and on social media for updated information on the primary, such as Election Day polling place changes, absentee voting requirements, and more.
