How can we help?
Democrats Care (aka GCDP Huddle) is a service organization that works to improve the lives of the people of Greenville County by listening to, connecting with, and offering labor, expertise, and support for our neighbors. We lend our shoulders, knowledge, and hearts, not just at election time, but all of the time, because we want to show that Democrats Care.
We are the in-person representatives of the vision, values, and priorities of the Greenville County Democratic Party come to life in our neighborhoods and community. Our unofficial motto is “How can we help?”

The Homeless Period Project packing party
Greenville County’s homeless face daily assaults on their health, safety and human dignity. Homeless women have additional, specific challenges to their health, safety and human dignity. The Homeless Period Project offers meaningful support by providing feminine hygiene products to meet these basic needs.
The GCDP Huddle is proud to support the work of the Homeless Period Project. Members of the Huddle, organized by Gayle Hewitt, joined by other community members, put together 940 packages of products for distribution to homeless shelters and schools. Learn more about HPP and its work or contact Gayle Hewitt for more information.
