Mothers are often our mentors, so in honor of Mother’s Day, we recognized the importance of mentoring, especially for women.
In addition to inviting their mentors or mentees, members had photos taken. And we had an inspiring presentation from our board member/treasurer Dr. Valerie Brooks-Madden, whose doctoral dissertation was on mentorship. Watch the video here.
