Will Morin candidate statement

Good day,

You may remember me from 2017-2018 when I sought our party’s nomination for the U.S. House of Representatives here in the 4th Congressional District with great success in community outreach and fundraising.

During my campaign, I fought against the effects of institutionalized racism and access while cultivating stronger ties to business and non-profit leaders in the community. Openly discussing the issues forced the greater community to work with people of color and marginalized communities in their approach to environmental advocacy in vastly different ways.

While many successes and strides have been achieved, there is still much to be done, and learned, as we fight for the protection of the environment for all. I consider the effort essential to my continued pragmatic-idealistic endeavors.

I am asking you for your vote as the Male Executive Committee member in order to continue the actions we first catalyzed in 2018 by moving the needle, creating a greater discussion within the community and party.

Together, we will make significant strides in our effort to build a sustainable South Carolina for all to enjoy.

Additionally, I have an earned Master of Public Administration from Clemson with a focus on public policy and sustainability. I also serve as the 4th district’s representative on the SCDP Environmental Caucus.

I close with a quote from Mohammad Ali, “Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth.”

Be the change you want to see: Help the party with a much-needed donation or volunteer to help!
