DESCRIPTION:Party with a Purpose. Come out and canvass/make phone calls (Poe Mill neighborhood) to help us find and engage Black voters and follow it up with a GOTV party. Check here for time/location on canvassing. Music by DJ Duke. Menu will feature Hot Wingz. Speakers will be community activists\, local candidates\, and presidential campaign representatives. Free to attend\, but registration requested.  \nAbout the Voter Engagement Program: There are 28\,000 African American voters in Greenville County that don’t vote. To change this we must get out and organize our community. It is our community that suffers from the lack of decent housing\, lack of living wage jobs\, and lack of fairness in the criminal justice system. Therefore\, it is our responsibility to come out and work on behalf of our children\, our families\, our future as a people. Give an hour of your time or more.
