SUMMARY:Celebrating Black History Month in Service: Volunteering at the Allen Temple AME Saturday Soup Kitchen
DESCRIPTION:Volunteers are asked to arrive with hair pulled back\, wearing blue (for photos)\, and ready to prep food\, cook\, fellowship and distribute\, and clean. Masks and gloves will be provided. There is a capacity limit for kitchen volunteers\, so prior registration with Whitney is required to participate in this event. Any length of time that a volunteer can assist is appreciated. This community event is organized by Democrats Care (aka the GCDP Huddle).
