DESCRIPTION:Our special guest speaker will be Circuit Public Defender for the 13th Judicial Circuit\, Christopher Scalzo. He leads the Public Defenders Office that covers all of Greenville County. He will be giving a presentation on the need for criminal justice reform and\, specially\, how current guidelines affect Greenville . \nMany in our community know how adversely the criminal justice system and mass incarceration have affected the African American community. This is something that affects us all. \nWe are challenging everyone to invite at least five people you know in the community to attend! \nJoin us as we build Democratic political infrastructure in District 25 to educate and empower our citizens. Our monthly precinct meetings are for Democrats in District 25 who want to get involved to engage and focus on voter education and community involvement. For too long\, our community has lacked political investment and priority. That will change and it starts with us. We hope you will join us.
