Sen. Kamala Harris, D-CA, came to Greenville for a day of firing up Democrats and getting out the vote. The day started with phone banking at the Hughes Library, moved to a private lunch with state and Upstate party leaders and elected officials, and wrapped up with a packed house of Democrats at the Long Branch Baptist Church who cheered “Madame President!” and “Fired UP! Ready to go” as Harris laid out what’s at stake in this election. “This is a moment in time that is requiring us to fight for the best of who we are as a country.”
