Wear Orange will be observed in Greenville with a commemorative walk and rally on Friday, June 4th. And the lighting of the Liberty Bridge in orange through the weekend. Wear Orange Weekend is a commemoration of those we’ve lost to gun violence and those who have survived.
The Wear Orange relay walk, coordinated by the Golden Strip Moms Demand Action begins at 10 a.m. in front of the Peace Center. Masks and social distancing are requested when possible as the sidewalks may be crowded. There will be a recognition ceremony at the end of the relay at noon at the Peace Center plaza as we remember those killed by gun violence.
