Our spring conference this year is going to focus on the distinction the Network makes between movement building and electoral work. The recent election has both Democrats and Republicans trying to redefine and rejuvenate their parties. It is an opportunity for a deeper discussion about the system we’re operating under and the crippling effects of money and gerrymandering on our democracy. We’ll take a deep dive into the fatal flaws of our political system and why the Network considers elections secondary to building a movement to make and sustain progressive change.  The conference will be followed by social time and dinner.
