Precinct Reorganization

March 14 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Every two years, Democrats in South Carolina elect new precinct leaders. Precincts are the foundation of organizing voters and political participation. Anyone who is a registered voter can attend reorganization meetings which are held in your local precincts and run for a leadership position. The goal of each precinct is to help identify, educate, and engage Democrats in your own communities. No political or organizing experience is required, just an interest in benefiting your community.

This year, reorganization takes place on Saturday, March 14 from 10 a.m. to noon, and you are invited – encouraged – to attend. It’s an important part of our efforts to elect more Democrats up and down the ballot and, eventually, turn SC blue again.

Whether you are elected as a precinct officer or just come to learn more about what the GCDP is about, your active engagement is integral to our success.

You can learn more about precincts on our blog and find your local meeting place for reorganization here.
