We’ll be assembling period packs for Title I middle and high school students who attend Greenville County schools. Volunteers are asked to host small Homeless Period Project Packing Parties in their own homes, wearing blue (for photos to be submitted to Huddle Coordinator Whitney Wright) and gloves. The goal each Party is to purchase and package as many period packs as possible. Notify coordinator Whitney Wright of how many packs are in your bags before dropping them off at GCDP Headquarters for delivery to students who will be in need during the summer months.
Each period pack should consist of a sandwich-sized, sealable plastic bag that contains any combination of (10) total
– NEW packaged pantyliners
– NEW packaged “regular” pads
– NEW packaged “super” pads
Bundled in trashbags, packs can be delivered, with final counts of items in them, to GCDP Headquarters, Monday through Friday until May 30, 2021. Supplies will be delivered to Berea Middle, Lakeside Middle, St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School, and Tanglewood Middle School.
