The League of Women Voters will host an interactive discussion about civics in the classroom on January 25th.

Some of what we see and hear in the news and on social media may have led you to wonder: “Don’t kids learn about this in school?” Good question. And our fall (virtual) education program on January 25 will address this with two excellent speakers to explore the topic, talk about the current educational standards and look at some of the legislation that could be moved forward in the upcoming legislative session.

This will be an interactive program with several breakout opportunities for open discussion.
