The City of Greenville will host project preview meetings, a chance for the public to view planned developments and provide feedback. The meetings will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of every month at the Prisma Health Welcome Center, in Unity Park. Projects of major public interest may be scheduled separately, from 6 to 7 p.m. A listing of the projects will be posted on the city website calendar a week in advance.
The open-house style of meeting will allow residents to stop by anytime to view projects before planning applications are submitted. There are no formal presentations, however city staff will be on hand to listen and respond to any procedural questions.
The meetings will meet the requirement for public communication outlined in the new Development Code. The code specifically requires public meetings for any of the following applications:
For residents who are unable to attend a meeting, comments or concerns about projects may be directed to the developer or emailed to planning@greenvillesc.gov. Messages will be routed to appropriate staff. All emails will receive a response.
