The 100th anniversary of the tragic Tulsa Massacre, the single most deadly incident of racial violence in American history, is May 31-June 1, 2021. Leaders of the Community Remembrance Project of Greenville County, who could not let this milestone go unrecognized, have planned a Centennial Commemoration for Monday, May 31, at the Phillis Wheatley Community Center.
The massacre is widely unknown, and restorative truth-telling is a big part of our mission.
All are welcome to attend the event, which is free, but registration is highly recommended. More information and registration.
