The Glow Lyric Theatre presents “Armed”, part of its Raising Voices series. In partnership with Arm in Arm SC, Moms Demand Action for Gunsense in America, Safe Harbor, and Upstate International, the evening begins with a reception from 6pm to 7pm, and also will likely include additional gun control advocacy organizations. The show is a collection of songs and stories about gun violence in America, and the hope for change. Following the show a panel comprised by partner organizations will discuss how to get involved to help end the cycle of gun violence. The show’s producers call it a “powerful evening that can be a starting point for change in our community.”
Performances on March 19 and 20. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased online.
